Hi,
I, too, have Irish Hacketts that were RC. Mine came from Tyrone to Rhode
Island in 1860. I have found them on a ship record, the chancellor, from
Liverpool to NY. Their names were Joseph Owen Hackett, his wife, Mary
Mckenna, and their infant son John. I descend from their other son Thomas,
born in 1869, probably Ohio. Lots of mystery to this family.
