I am interested in corresponding with anyone regarding this family. Herod Hackett m. Nellie Cannon in 1820. Nellie was the daughter of James Cannon in Indiana. I am descendent of Herod and Nellie's oldest daughter Gemima Ann who married George W. Gipson in Illinois. I am looking for information regarding the parents of Herod (also spelled Herrot or Herrod occasionally).
