I am the daughter of Jack J. Hackett, who was born Sept 17,1917, and died Nov 7,1998. He was born Valentine Hackett and shows in the 1920 Census,that his mother was Libby and her husband was Valentine Hackett. Then in 1930 Census, The father,which would be my Grandfather was married to a "Dorothy and they had a 8/9month old son named "Richard". Is this your brother? And where did the family go from that time? My Mother and Father were divorced some time after I was five years old. And didn't make it legal for over thirteen years. He later married a woman by the name of Evelyn. And in their last years together, were living in Nebraska. Mother told me that my father was married before her and then after her. AND, that his father was married twice. He had children with both marriages.
