My father was born Valentine Hackett and his father was also named Valentine Hackett. My father did not like this name"Valentine" and always went by Jack J Hackett. He was born in Illinois,according to the 1920 Census; at that time my fathers,father was married to Libbie Jane Easton, BUT in the 1930 Census my Grandfather had married Dorothy ?????, and they had a son less than a year old, by the name of Richard Hackett. I know that My Father had siblings,othr than Richard, his half-brother. He had a sister name of Angelica and three half-sister: Delores,Jerri, and Shirley. As of the year 1998, the three half-sisters were still alive. This Richard Hackett was on the 1930 Census, but nothing was said in the Newpaper Notice of Jack J. Hacketts, death regarding Richard. I am also looking for a "Gary Hackett" that would have been born about 1938. I only have a picture and what my 89 year old mother tells me.
