I'm still trying to assemble information. I know that a T.C. Hackett attended the wedding of Hattie Rapp and Edwin Seaton Hackett in 1900 and believe that he have been (Thomas Clark?) Hackett, Edwin's father (?) who may have been the son of Robinson Hackett of Venago Co., PA and later of Franklin Co. KS. Family names seem to track as do locations. Also, my grandmother (Hattie's and Ed's daughter) has memories of a grandfather who talked in "funny Pennsylvanian lingo" and insisted on morning prayers. She was under the impression that the family was from England. She further recalled that her father's youngest sister married a Lester Yount of Kansas City and that he had brothers named William and Robert.
