My ggg-grandfather Jeremiah Hackett's family came from Ireland. His great grandfather was Lord Mayor of Dublin Ireland in 1687 and went on to VA=>OH=>AR by 1830's.

Jeremiah married Sarah Titchenal who's family also has a lot of pioneer history. Interesting read at http://www.titchenal.com
also has a lot of Hackett history in it. Hackett, AR was named after Jeremiah and his son Benjamin.
