I am interested in information on Edwin Seaton Hackett who died in Kansas (Winfield?) in about 1905 of an appendicitis attack. His father may have been T. (Thomas?) Clark Hackett. Edwin was born in about 1872 and married Hattie Abigail Rapp in Baldwin (City) Kansas in the late 1890's. Edwin is my great-grandfather through his daughter Helen Hackett Swayze. T. Clark Hackett, Lulu Hackett and Ella Hackett signed the guest register of Edwin and Hattie's wedding. I believe Lulu may have been Edwin's sister. My grandmother (Helen) believed he had two brothers also (William and Robert?). She further believed that Lulu/Loula married Lester Yount of Kansas City. Are you familiar with any of these names? Could Edwin be the son of Thomas C. Hackett? All the family names seem to track. I appreciate any information you may have.
