I am researching my Hackett roots. I live in Brunswick Maine. My Hackett roots came from Bowdionham. I don't think we are related but I thought you might be interested to know that the Curtis Library has a website where you could look for articles in the Brunswick Times record on your Hacketts. The website is www4.curtislibrary.com . That is the page for the Snow index to the Brunswick Newspaper. Under the man shoveling are red highlighted words "click here to use simple search engine. When the new page croped up I typed in the name I was looking for. I got alot of other names as well. I hope you may be able to find some information on your relatives. Have you tried to contact the Grosstown cemetry? I have some relatives on my mother's side burried there. My Aunt tried to find the records on those burried there with no luck. I would be interested in who to contact myself.
