The many descendants of Zadock and Mercy Bennett include a Canadian Prime Minister, R. B. Bennett 1870-1947, and 2 premiers of the province of Brisith Columbia, W. A. C. Bennett 1900-1979 and his son Bill. These are descendants of their grandson Caleb Jr b. who was granted 750 acres in the area of Hopewell, Albert County New Brunswick in 1761.
