I am looking for information on my father's ancestery. He was Thomas Francis Hackett II dob Aug. 29, 1907, died Jan 31, 1963 (married Bertha Emma Savoie of Barre VT). His Parents: Thomas Francis Hackett of Toland Co Conn 1890 census, Margaret M. Burns Ireland (no cityor county). Margaret and Thomas were married in Maynard Mass, they worked at the woolen mill, she died of TB shortly after giving birth to my father, his father and he moved to Providence R.I. to his Hackett relatives. This is all the info I have. The surnames from Ireland are Hackett, Burns, Kelly and Donahoe. Can anyone help me? Like a lot of families at that time, things were hush-hush and not talked about. My father was not allowed to talk about his mother, and his father died when my father was about 9yrs old. He was raised by an Aunt Minna(?) in Providence, possibly his father's sister in law. My father was an only child. Any connections would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Patsy Hackett Welch
