Raymond Hackett
Raymond Dale Hackett, 55, Route 2, Box 35, Letts, died Sunday night at Muscatine General Hospital.

Services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. LaVern Hubbard will officiate. Mrs. Robert Finley will be organist and Kay Terhune vocalist. Pallbearers will be Orlyn Quick, Richard Kunkel, David, Dennis and Emil Anderson Jr.; and Louis Meinert. Burial will be at the Letts Cemetery.

Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home where a memorial has been established.

Mr. Hackett was born Feb. 12, 1934 at Muscatine, a son of William and Edna May Wagner Hackett. He had lived in Davenport until 1973.

He married Mary Lue Anderson on July 28, 1956 in Davenport.

He was a Korean War veteran and had worked for Red Jacket Mfg. Company for 20 years before moving to Letts.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lue, three sons, Todd, of Muscatine; Jeff of Wapello; and Graig
of Letts; four grandchildren; and one sister Mrs. Jack (Beverly) Smith of Visalia, Calif.

His parents preceded him in death.
