I am researching the family of a Helen D. (Hackett) Mc Grath.
Her parents were a Henry "Harry" Hackett an electrican in a supply factory and a Maria/Mary Nixon.In the 1920 census they are living in Manhattan at 318 Monroe Street, with 9 children and 1 nephew a James Devlin. Unsure as to when family moved to Brooklyn. Helen was living at 745 60th Street, Brooklyn, New York in 1931. She had 2 daughters by 1937, Dolores m William Carroll and a Patricia.
Any connection to your Hackett's ?
