"The following, regarding the death of Mr. Henry P. Hackett, of Bloominggrove township, is taken from the Rives correspondence in the Mansfield Shield:
After several years of suffering Henry Paterson Hackett departed this life, Jan. 24, 1903, aged 72 years, 10 months and 7 days. Mr. Hackett was married to Mary Zeigler on June 27, 1854, and of this union were born three sons and two daughters. Mrs. Hackett died in August, 1864. Mr. Hackett again married, Feb. 9, 1865, to Miss Catherine Fickes. Of this union were born one son and three daughters. Again on June 9, 1871, Mr. Hackett was left to battle with life's cares. He leaves two sons and four daughters to mourn the loss of a kind and loving father. He leaves two brothers and a large circle of friends. He was known by old and young as "the fisherman." Those who attended the funeral from other points were Geo. Hackett, Jr., and wife, of Shelby: Oliver Kaylor and wife, of Shiloh; Mrs. Harriett McDermott and Clarence Ehret, of near Plymouth; Frank Hackett and family, of Ruggles and Miss Mary Fisher of Epworth."

[Henry P. Hackett is one of the brothers of my ggreat-grand-
father, James H. Hackett, both from Bloominggrove Twp., Richland Co., Ohio. I hope that someone will be able to help me learn the unnamed children from the marriages of Henry]
