As I have never heard of the Rolfe-Pocahontas connection to the Hackett. Stange as I was told our Hackett line was connected to Mary Jemison known as "The White Woman of The Genesee". She was the daughter of Thomas Jemison and Jane Irwin of western Pa. and was captured and live with the Delaware and Seneca Indians. Would anyone know where she lived in Pa? Our great grandmother Margaret b.c; 1790's in Northumberland Pa. but I don't have a last name for her, married our Samuel Hackett b.c;1790 in Mass. Margaret and Samuel eventually settled in Western N.Y.
Thanks for your help, Rose
