Pavilion [NY] Aug 16 [1932] –Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen CARROLL HACKETT, who died of infirmities of old age, Thursday morning at the home of her daughter Mrs. Henry QUINLAN with whom she has made her home for the past four years, were held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Mary's church. The Rev. William QUINLAN of Cuba [NY] celebrated High Mass, assisted by Rev. William J. DONNOLLY rector of St. Mary's church. There were many mass cards. Mrs. HACKET[T] was born 81 years ago at North Java and was married 60 years ago to William HACKETT of Pavilion and has resided in Pavilion vicinity during that time. Mr. HACKETT died several years ago. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. James PERFIELD of Puyallup, Washington and Mrs. QUINLAN, one brother, John CARROLL of Pepin, Wisconsin, also several grandchildren. The bearers were Henry, Bernard and Paul QUINLAN, John and James MURPHY and Paul KENNA. Those from out of town to attend the funeral were, Mr. and Mrs. Henr!
y HACKETT, Mr. and Mrs. George WEILAND, Mrs. Henrietta GRIFFEN of Batavia, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce HYLE; Mrs. Celia LARKIN, Mrs. Alice GOSSEN of Rochester, Mr. and Mrs. William LARKIN of Mt. Morris, John PARTLON of Perry. The interment was in St. Mary's cemetery.
