Mrs. William Hackett Dies at
Hospital; Funeral to Be
Held Here

Letts--Mrs. William Hackett, 57, died at Bellevue hospital Tuesday night after an operation. Funeral services will be conducted at the Fairbanks Home for Funerals in Muscatine Thursday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Mr. Willey and burial will be in the Wagner cemetery, east of Letts.
Mrs. Hackett was born Lillie Coder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Coder, in Cedar township, March 14, 1876. On April 30, 1896 she was married to William Hackett, who preceded her in death eight years ago.
Her home was three miles east of Letts and she spent her entire life in this community, with the exception of six years when a child, when the family lived in Decatur county.
She is survived by two sons, Arthur and William Hackett; two brothers, Chester Coder, west of Letts and Will Coder of Ottumwa; two sisters Mrs. John Welsch of Moline and Mrs. Nelson Meeker of Fredonia. One sister, Mrs. Leo Snyder, preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Oak Grove Christian church of Cranston.
