Beth, saw your post about N GA Hacketts. Hackett was not as rare a name in English-speaking countries as is sometimes believed so I am not sure what connection you saw between the Pennsylvania Hacketts and yours.
However, I live in Georgia and have done some Hackett research out of interest in 19th and 18th c Hacketts in general [mine are all in Ireland]. Your post lacks any dates or places. If you will give me some counties and dates, I will see if any of my research is of help to you. Have you done all the census research? It was not clear. Hope to hear from you.
