I am looking for info on Alice (Wright) Hackett who d. age 89. Alice was the dau of Bridget Ryan & Mr. Wright. Bridget (mother of Alice) was b. abt. 1860's, location unknown. Bridget was the dau of John Ryan & Mary Phelan, m. NY and moved family west, settling in Ft. Dodge, IA by 1870's. John Ryan was an engineer b. Ireland, and Mary Phelan b. Ireland came to NY at age 16.

John & Mary had at least seven children - Edward Ryan b. 1863 d. 1945 - bachelor; Elizabeth Ryan b. ? d. 1945 blind, never married; Margaret Ryan b. ? d. 1908 in accidental fire - family unknown; Mary Ryan b. ? d. age 35 had family; Ann Ryan b. ? d. age 80; family unknown; BRIDGET RYAN b. ? d. ? m. Mr. Wright, had dau Alice; Catherine Agnes Ryan b/ abt 1865 in ILL in covered wagon as family moved west, d. 1944 in Ft. Dodge, IA, m. Thomas Franklin Brennan, had seven (7) children.

Thomas Brennan & Catherine (Ryan) Brennan had 1) Cleo b. 1867, d. 1981; 2) Ursula b. 1888 d. 1985, m. Robert C. O'Malley 1913 - my grandparents; Agnes b. 1890 d. 1957, m John Fanning - no family; Edward d. age 1 in arms of Ursula; Frank d. age 5; Robert b. 1896 d. 1980, m. Naomi ?, had daughters Nan & Susan; James b. ? d. 1975, m. Mary late in life, no family.

Ursula (Brennan) O'Malley kept in touch with her cousin Alice Hackett thruout their lives. I am looking for connections, dates, etc. to help me piece together this family of Ryans and Brennans. Any help would be appreciated.
