Hello everyone and I'm back and done with school for now. I got a
3.75 for the spring semester, 3 A's and a B. Only 3 more classes til
graduation in December.

First piece of news, etc. is I am asking if you took over a list for
me this past semester and I have not emailed you yet, please email
me. I lost some of my email and only have the address of 2 people,
but I know there were at least 3 or 4 who took over for me.

Second, Please remember that the purpose of the list is genealogy.
In accordance with that, I ask that all members only post genealogy
related material to the list, whether it a genealogical joke, a
success, family memories, etc, as well as queries. I love a good
joke and I love to hear about successes because it helps inspire me
to dig further, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Look for your
ancestors, but also have fun on the lists.

The third thing is I have a new policy for posting virus warnings to
the list. All but maybe 1 or 2 of the dozen virus warnings that were
sent to all my lists this past semester were hoaxes. I do realize
that there are valid virus warnings out there, and some of the
members even received them, but most of the forwarded messages to the
lists are hoaxes. Because of this, I am changing my policy. If you
think a virus warning should be sent to the lists, SEND IT TO ME
FIRST and get my approval. If you send a virus warning to the list
without my approval, you will get one (1) warning, if you do it
again, you will automatically be unsubbed from the list, but allowed
to come back, if you post a third time, you will be permanently
blocked from the list. How will I know if you posted to the list
more than once, I am keeping a file of a list of addresses that post
and keeping track. I realize this is a tad hard-lined, but at least
I'm giving you a warning and then a chance to come back, many
listowner will not even give you a warning. If you don't like this
policy, you can leave the list, I have no problem with that. If you
really think something warrants being posted to the list or even if
you've received a virus yourself, then by all means email me. I will
look into it, I have a roommate getting her PhD in Computer Science
and I do research all the time on viruses because lots of people send
me warnings. I just ask that you get my approval before sending it
to the list, that's all.

Well, that's all for the news, I just want everyone to have an
