I have an edward Hackett who was born in Ireland in 1840 and came to New
York around 1849-1850, he was also a Blacksmith. This is According to A
Census,(a 1900 census), He then lived in Newburgh, New York and had a family.
I do not have any other information at this point. Any thing match your
information?
