Dear ????
What year did your William die? What did he and
Clara name their children? Do you have an obituary for him?
How was it he came to Illinois? Do you have his naturalization
papers?
I am assuming he died before 1900.

William would have been born about 1816 in Leicestershire. But I have not
been able to find a direct link. All of the refereneces to William, the son
of Thomas, are that he is from central England and they sometimes refer to
Burbage. Do you know if any of the Williams in your tree emigrated to the
United States?
Some of the inormation I have found suggests that my William migh be
the
son of Thomas Hackett who married Ann Hurst 30-12-1807 in Burbage. I am
trying to find information about William Hackett who I believe was born in
Burbage in 1816. This information is from his grave marker in Forreston,
Illinois,USA. He emigrated to the US but I am not sure when. My William
was
married Claretta Marker. Clara or Claretta Marker Hackett and William
Hackett were married by William Eaton in Jefferson Co. Ohio, USA in 1852,
according to their marriage certificate.
We have I also found the following baptisms for Thomas and Ann:
Ann baptised 2-10-1810 in Hinc kley Wesleyan Methodist
John " 21-6-1812 " " "
Eliza " 1-4-1816 in Burbage
Susannah " 1-4-1818 "<
