Hello again Hackett list:
I have so much more info on my family I'd like to share with you in
case we have a connection. I do apologize for so much info but I want
to be thorough. Thomas Hackett (dob 10/2/ 1838 dod 5/18/1899 was a New
Haven police officer from 10/1870 u/dod) married Mary McCraken (dob
about 1842) had 8 children: Mary E (dob about 1866 and married Francis
Farrell); Margaret A (dob 1868 dod 1/1/08); Sarah J (dob about 1870 and
either married John Johnson or William Strack); William H (dob 1872 dod
11/10/38 was the state tax commissioner married Elizabeth Connor and had
2 children Thomas W a dentist in Westport CT and Mildred dob 4/23/1898
dod 12/24/88 a clerk at Yale University for 43 years); John (dob about
1874); Katie (dob about 1876 and either married John Johnson or William
Strack); Jeremiah (dob about 1880 dod 1920 married Emma Saffer);Thomas C
(my ggrandfather dob 8/23/1877 dod 9/3/35 married Mary Ellen Hackett her
parents were John Hackett and Bridget Healey they had 8 children Thomas;
Edward L (married Amelia Bartini); John C (married Patricia Koran and
had daughter Patricia M last known address NY 1977); William Cornelius
(my grandfather married Agnes Koenig and had 6 children Thomas,
Kathleen, William (my Dad), Maureen, Charlene, and James); Margaret;
Marion; Joseph;Alice (married Frank O'Connor).
