Hackett seekers,

I recently found more information on my mysterious Polly (Mary?)Hackett.

She may have come from Painted Post - an old part of the town of Corning,
NY.

Does any one know of a specific Hackett family know to live there around
1780-90?

Polly Hackett:

born 1/30/1788

married John Wesley Bixby who was born 2/17/1786,Saratoga, NY.

children: David, Lydia, Jonathan, David Sopia,

Savin(Sally), Lyman, Worthy(Rufus), Eliahim, Mercy, Prudence.

Polly was my ggg grandmother through her daughter Mercy.
