Do you have any idea where Charles went after the war?? My ggrandfather
Moses Fitz Hackett b. 1831 (father Davis Hackett) in Strong ME also fought
in the Civil War. Sometime after the war he moved to Michigan. In the
1897 Midland CO. (Michigan) Register, he is listed along with Charles and
Peter Hackett (all heads of households) on Sec. 2 Porter Township. I'm
very curious to know what, if any, relation Charles and Peter were to
Moses. ?Cousins?
