Hello everyone!

I'm brand new to the Hackett list today and have a query. I'm looking for
the parents of my 2nd Great Grandfather and know this much:

Bernard Hackett, born @1850 in Ireland, came to live in upstate NY sometime
before 1874. He and his wife Mary Ann Tompkins lived in the Poughkeepsie,
NY area and also in Newburgh, NY where at least one of their children was
born in 1874.

That's all I have to go on! But I did find a Bernard Hackett at the LDS site:

I know this data is not to be taken at face value. Can anyone corroborate
this family:
