This is what I have of Hackett's in NY...

John Hackett m. Eleanor Gardner
son Edward Hackett m. Hannah ??
Edward & Hannah's son: Samuel m. Mary Andros of Tiverton, RI
Sam & Mary's children:
Edward, b. 6/5/1747 d. 1836, Dryden, NY (my line)
Susannah, b. 1744
Samuel b. 1748
Joseph b. 8/18/1750
Josiah, b. 6/15/1758
William b. 1754
Henry, b. ~1760
and Abel, b. ~ 1760 married ???? (don't know)
had a son, Major HACKETT, m. Eunice (different than Howard has below, but I'm unsure of this anyway)
Major and wife had two children, one name unknown, the other was Almaron, b. 1817. Married a Mary. J .Brown
Almaron and Mary had a child - Edward.

This is all I have. This information is from various sources - including web sources that have not yet been proven with documents. As this is not my line, I have not been concentration on Abel's family.
