Subject: [HACKETT-L] CHARLES ALPHEUS HACKETT & HANNAH MARIE GIDDINGS

I was wondering if anyone had any data on Charles Alpheus Hackett and
his wife, Hannah Marie Giddings. Hannah Marie was a widow of James
Johnson with 6 children when she married Charles Alpheus Hackett.
Sorry, no dates or places on this marriage. According to the history of
their family, Charles, Harriet and children [both hers plus his and hers
at this time] decided to leave Illinois and move further west. They
settled near St. Louis, MO. Amos Samuel Hackett was one of Charles and
Harriet's children. They didn't stay long in this area and moved on to
Kansas, encountered a drought and then moved east to near Fremont [name
since changed to Stockton, Cedar Co.] MO. Charles Alpheus fought in the
Union Army during the Civil War.
