Hell I don't really understand most of what comes through on these
anyway. Most especially the on and on websites etc. It's beyond me and
I'm sure this tiny Mac I have.
Not only this, but most of the Hackett genealogy is very seldom New
England, so I suspect not many of us old "damn yankees" are interested
enough, except maybe Howard Johnston and possibly Trish, but anyway,
seriously, not many New Englanders are using this it would seem. Too bad,
because we have BIG haps going to be happening up in Portsmouth, NH
wherein the "Ranger" Association are in the second phase of their plans
to build a replica of the vessel "Ranger" which Capt. John Paul Jones was
Captain of, AND Colonel JAMES HACKETT was the Master Builder of along
with General James Hill and I think the other was Isaac Hall a ship's
Captain as well as a builder, but a Hall none-the-less. Just happens Col.
James Hackett was my g.g.g.g. grandfather. I will be sending the
association all I have on this line of Hacketts all ship builders and
designers. I have "TONS" of data. My best. Hi Trish.

Gary I.(10) Hackett
