I have seen several messages about Hacketts in KY that don't seem to relate
to the line I was interested in, that is Nelson Hackett of Bath Co., KY.
Howard Johnson has recently filled out the descendants of that line for me,
and maybe one day the ancestry of Nelson Hackett will be revealed.

But for those other Hackett researchers in KY, I would like to make a
suggestion. A few years ago, I searched the LDS computer library for their
microfilm holdings for Hackett and I rented 2 or 3 films that concerned
Hacketts and KY or VA. I seem to remember that these lines came from PA or
possibly NJ but had no connection to Nelson Hackett so I did not copy them.
However, some of you may want to check those microfilms if you haven't
already.
