Hi lists. I have had quite a few people on these lists give multiple
subsciptions to the list when there is a lull in the posting....quit
it!:) hehe. Don't do that for a couple of reasons.

First off, it is unnecessary, If for some reason you were unsubbed, you
will get a notice from Rootsweb that you were. If you don't get a
notice, but you're not getting any mail from the lists, it's because no
one is posting and resubscribing will not solve that.

Second reason is because it is hard on the Rootsweb server to do that
and an unnecessary burden.

Third reason is because if you subscribe more than once, smartlist (the
server that deals with subbing, etc) is pretty stupid and will put your
address on the list for however many times you have subscribed. Say you
sub. 3 times, your address will be entered on the list 3 times and you
will get 3 copies of every message or digest. This doesn't ALWAYS
happen, but it does happen. So if you start getting more than one copy
of a post, first off, let me know and secondly, unsubscribe 1 times for
every extra copy you receive (ex: if you get 4 copies, unsub 3 times,
etc.)

Just remember that a lull in the list does not mean you have been
unsubbed. If you have any doubts or questions, email me about it and I
