descendants/ancestors of Ellen Roxana Wyeth who married Oliver Cromwell
Hackett. The book give Oliver's parents as being John Hackett and
Elizabeth
Murphy. The book gives no info on Elizabeth's parents (who I'm looking
for),
but it did give John's father as being Peter Hackett who it said was from
VA
and fought in the Rev. War. I have not found any info on Peter in any Rev.
War
records online since I don't know how to search records other than online
yet,
any help would be appreciated:o) <
Did you get any help with this yet? Where do you live?--like what
state, near what large town?

Oliver Cromwell Hackett and Ellen Murphy certainly sound like Irish
descendants.
