It would be extremely coincidental (or ironic) if our two Mary Barrys were the
same but here goes:

I have a Mary Barry in my family tree that was born about 1840 in Ireland. In my
tree she is married to William Henegan. They are my great great grandparents.
She had several children with William, but the last was born in 1874. One of her
daughters was Kate Henegan who married Henry Smithhisler. They in turn had a
daughter Blanche Marie who married my grandfather, Raymond Edward Hackett. It
would be a riot if my Mary Barry married a second time (if William Henegan died
or left her) and that second husband was Ira Hackett. The date of birth of
Gladys Hackett is not inconsistent with a second marriage. That might make
Gladys both an aunt and a cousin of mine.

Mary's first children were twins; my great grandmother Kate and her sister
Isabelle. They were born in Ohio; I don't know exactly where. Ultimately Kate
wound up in Danville, Ohio where my grandmother Blanche was born.

Mary is an extremely common name for Barrys if my research is any indication -
but its interesting to speculate about the double Hackett connection.
