Hi
Hi Laura,
As I suspect I told you before I have an uncle called John who lived and ran
a provisioning business from Kevin Street in Dublin. He would have come to
Dublin in the 1820s as a young man --probably from Galway. Had a son called
Martin who spent some time in the US. Some of the other names run in the
Hackett with the exception of Owen.

Here is my line:
Joseph Owen Hackett, born in Ireland about 1840, prob. Tyrone (father
John Hackett)
Married Mary McKenna, born in Ireland about 1841 (parents Peter and
Alice McKenna)
Children: John, Maggie, Bridget, Frank, Thomas, Josephine, another
daughter, and possibly a son Owen who died young.
Came to Lorain, Ohio in 1860's. This family was Catholic. Any
connections?
Laura
