Hello!

I am researching the family of George Hackett found in 1810 in
Washington Co, PA. born in 1777. He and family moved to Ohio in 1815
and there is quite a lot on the family there. However, I am still
tracing parents. Census records show he was born in PA. A close look
at 1790 and 1800 census records for all Hacketts in PA narrows the field
to a couple possibilities.

Ann Hackett in Chester Co. in 1800 had a son the correct age. She may be
the widow of Jno.Hackett found in the same county in 1790.

or Eliza Hackett in Cumberland Co. in 1800. There were two George
Hacketts in Cumberland Co. in 1790, both with sons in the correct
age brackets. My George named his first son George, and 2nd daughter
Elizabeth, which fits if you use name theories about naming after
parents.

Gary Hackett sent me info that George Hackett and Elizabeth McYoung m.
27 June 1764. Does anyone have the place of marriage or any other
information about this couple?

Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
