I have a large database of Hacketts and we may be able to help one another.

I do have a Luther Hackett in an 1850 census which I believe is your Luther:
1850 Massachusetts state census; Essex County, Lawrence; 11 Aug 1850, page
223; Film 314.
Hackett, Luther I., age 24, m, stone cutter, born VT.
Charles W., age 30, m, switches RR, born VT.
Ann S., age 23, f, born MA.
Ella, age 4, born MA.

I have a lot of Jonathan Hacketts, but haven't been able to know for sure which
one is Luther's father.

Do you know the name of the spouse of Luther Hackett?
