Jabez(1) Hackett, first of Lynn, MA 1644, then of Taunton, MA 1654 where
he died. Came over on an old Soap Boiler from England.

William Hackett of Dover, NH land grants. Probably escaped from England
to Holland where he was Capt. of ship and recorded in America 1654.

William(1) Hackett of Salisbury/Amesbury, MA, m. 1666 Sarah Barnard, dau.
of Capt. Thomas Barnard. This William may be the son of the Dover, NH
William, but no absolute proof of this as yet. Most descendants taken
their Hackett ancestry from this William(1) Hackett who m. Sarah Barnard,
as we have proof of the lines.

Mine is: Gary Irvin(10) Hackett, Chester Irvin(9), Lester Eugene(8), John
Francis(7), Samuel(6), James, Jr. (5), Colonel James, Sr.(4), John(3),
William(2) William(1).
