I just ran across some info yesterday that may be of some value to you.
In a book called "Patrons of Husbandry on the Pacific Coast by Ezra S. Carr,
published San Francisco, 1875:
It lists a G. A. Hackett and a Chas. Hackett as being members of the Franklin
Grange, No. 135; Visalia, Lake Township, Tulare Co., CA.
This Grange was established 12 Dec. 1873.
Visalia isn't all that far from Dinuba.
This may give you another place to look.
