Corinne --
Here's all I have on this George Hackett:
"Private George Hackett of Manchester, NY, enlisted in the army of the
United
States of America in Co. H, 16th Regt. of New York Heavy Artillery for 3
years on 5 January 1864 at Canandaigua, NY at the age of 18. He was born
in
Manchester, Ontario County, NY and enlisted when he was 18 years old. He
had
blue eyes, auburn hair, fair complexion and was 5' 11" in height. He was
on
the hospital muster roll at Point Lookout, Maryland from July to October
1864. His muster-out date was 21 Aug 1865."

With your permission, I would like to add the rest of your info on this
family to my database. If you could put it into gedcom format, that
would be preferred, but anything else is fine, too.
