Hi,
I'm researching Hacketts, primarily in County Tipperary, Ireland.
Particularly, John Hackett listed in Griffith's valuations for Tipperary
(1851) in Curragraighue, Borrisoleigh, Tipperary. He was enumerated along
with a Philip (father? brother?)
His wife's name was Margaret (maiden name unknown).
He had daughters Annie, b 1864, Mary Agnes b. 1866 (my great-grandmother)
and possibly a daughter Bridget (I'm still working on that connection).
Mary Agnes Hackett married Richard Delahunty in the R.C. chapel in
Borrisoleigh in 1877 and emigrated to the US between then and 1882.
Any connections there?
Thanks in advance,
Rick Delahanty
