Laura, have you checked obituaries for Joseph and John, etc.?
Often they state the place in Ireland. Have you checked the funeral
records and the tombstones? Have you looked at the 1870 census? You are
right that usually it only says Ireland, but every once in a while you get
a fussy census taker who gets more detail.
What about the Stark Co. Parish? Where did the other church
members come from? If you get desperate, see who were their friends, etc.
when they first arrived. Who else is named on the various naturalization
records? It is likely that they knew people who went from Ireland to Stark
Co. before they immigrated.
