Go to http://www.ancestry.com/ancestry/search.asp and go to the free
databases and search the 1790 MD census for Van Deren or just Deren. As far
as for the Hackett line, there is a John HACKETT listed in the 1790 census
for Baltimore Co., MD on page 21. It states that there were 2 men age 16 or
older (one could easily be John Jr.) and 3 females (one of which could be
Elizabeth). I would check the Van Deren at that address either today or
tomorrow (they are only free for 1 or 2 more days). By the way, there are
no John Hackett's listed in Queen Anne's Co., most likely they moved from
Baltimore to there which I don't believe are very far from eachother.
