Someplace in the shuffle I lost your email address.

But, I do have some info on your George Hackett who mar. Mercy Hall.
The IGI lists their marriage as abt 1856 Syracuse, Onandago, NY.

I have 5 children listed for George & Mercy; none with the name Persis.
However, that doesn't mean she isn't their child. The birth date you
listed fits right in OK.

Mary's sister, Electa, mar. Seth Hackett, brother of George and he and
his family were living in PA in 1850.

Here's another researcher who's been working on this line:
Chris Hobson, Box 172, Shinglehouse, PA 16748.
It was 1990 when I heard from this person.
