Subject: William Hackett - OH, IL and PA

This is my first Hackett list mail. Sorry if I do not do it properly.
I am interested in finding links to the Hakcetts (wives, children, etc).
William was born in Burbage, Central England in 1824.
He immigrated to the US - I'm not sure when and to what port despite many
requests to the National Archives for ship manifests. Any ideas?
He married Claretta Marker in 1852 in Steubenville, Ohio.
They had seven children: Thomas, Mary b 1877, George, Lemuel, Fredrick Ralph b
1860 (my grandfather), Ada Hannah and Addie b 1962.
Fredrick married Emily Esther Lincoln (Emily and President Lincoln have the
same ggggrand parents) and had a daughter Ruth Irene in 1893. Ruth is my
grandmother.
If you know of how to track down English roots or more about Burbage that
would be helpful.
