Hi Barbara,
I couldn't locate his birth record???
His marriage to Eliza ROGERS in April 1892 (vol 443, pg 531) says his
parents were Peter DOREY and Ellen WYHAN. Confirms he was born in
Cambridge -- about 1869, as he was age 23 when he married.
Maybe someone else will have better luck??
