I was born at Ft Devens Army Hospital in 1952. Dad was a 2LT in the Coast
Artillery. My dad wanted Mom to drive down to Cape Cod so I could be a real
Cape Codder like my Grandpa but she wasn't having any of it. My birth
certificate is from Shirley because Devens kind of straddles the line
between the towns and the hospital was evidently on the Shirley side.
