You could answer many of these questions for yourself by downloading

You are confusing two different men with the same name. John Gardner
of Plymouth was the indentured servant. There is no evidence that he
ever married, and no record of him after 1640.
John Gardner of Hingham appeared in that town in 1652, and the
surname of his wife is not known.
