Hi Ginny...
Not sure this will help out too very much but this is a list of old
fashioned occupations.
A "provisions dealer" sets me in mind of a merchant in an outpost area
providing provisions for miners or some such. Although it may just be what the
called a dry goods merchant in a specific area. Where was this?
