As I have been reading through all these burial records, cemetery records,
etc that Janice has so generously posted I have noticed that young children
are listed by name, but at some age the young men are listed as Mr and the
young ladies as Miss. Was there a certain age when one was addressed thus
or was it just local custom that prevailed? When did this observance
ceased to exist?
