John Lewes on the north butting & bounding as the other. His Intervale lott

The Lands of Thomas James
Thomas James had a wife, Elizabeth and a son John James, born at
Charlestown, Mass. Nov. 18,
1632. He left his property in Lancaster to his cousins, the Lewises, and
Christopher Lewis
sold the east end of the house lot between the river and the highway to
Joseph White in 1705.
Thomas James died March 15, 1660. note: p.322 give his date of death as
January 13, 1660.

Edmund James, proprietor, 1636-7; Selectman 1638; admitted freeman May 18,
1631. Perhaps
it was his widow, Reana James of Watertown who entered into a marriage with
William Andrew
of Cambridge, August 21, 1663.

p.800
The marriage contract between the widow, Reana James and William Andrew was
made Aug 11,
1640 and on Aug 21, 1664, "Daniel Kempster aged 77," testified that he
witnessed the
signature of the contract.
