Hi Judy:
this is what I have on the Cheever name (from the "Goldthwaite Genealogy"
published 1899.

Ezekiel Cheever b. January 25, 1614 in London. Parents were William and
Margaret.
Came to Boston in 1637, probably the following year, moved to New Haven,
CT.
In New Haven he married, fall of 1638, Mary (maiden name unknown). She
died there on January 20, 1649.
Ca 1650 he moved to Ipswich, MA. While there he married Ellen LATHROP on
November 18, 1652. **she was the SISTER of Capt. Thomas Lathrop of
Beverly, MA.**
Children by first wife, Mary:
Samuel, b. Sept. 22, 1639; m. Ruth Angier of Cambridge; minister at
Marblehead, 1668-1724
Mary, bapt. Nov. 29, 1640; m. Capt. William Lewis and Thomas Bull, both
of Farmington, CT
Ezekiel, bapt. June 12, 1642; d.y.
Elizabeth, bapt. April 6, 1645; m. Samuel Goldthwaite
Sarah, bapt. Sept. 21, 1646
Hannah, bapt. June 25, 1648. She was brought up in the family of John
Wakeman of New Haven, who left her a bequest in his will of 1660.

Children by 2nd wife, Ellen:
Abigail, b. Oct. 20, 1653; d. unmarried in Boston age 52
Ezekiel, b. July 1, 1655; m. Abigail Lippingwell; resided in Salem
Village
Nathaniel, b. June 23, 1656; d.y.
Thomas, b. August 23, 1658; m. Sarah Bill of Chelsea, and three times
afterwards; minister at Chelsea, 1715 to 1749
William, b. January 23, 1664; d.y.
Susanna, m. June 5, 1693, in Boston, Joseph Russell

There are also a few references to the surnames WHITE, PIERCE, BRIGHAM,
but I don't know if they tie into the line your researching. If you want
that info, let me know and I can e-mail it privately to you.
